Obituary For Ruthie Turner
Ruthie Turner, 71, also known as "Bootsey" to her family and close friends passed away on January 15, 2023, in Warner Robins, Ga.
Ruthie Turner was born on August 23, 1951 in Jeffersonville, GA, to Carlton Basley and Eula M. Hill Basley. Ruthie attended Jeffersonville High School and went on to earn her GED. She worked as a housekeeper and a clerk for many years before the declination of her health.
Ruthie married James Turner on in Warner Robins.
Ruthie was best known for her cooking, her short statute and kind heart. For such a little lady, Ruthie was very strong and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Although she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she had her own special bond with each and every one of them.
Ruthie also loved gospel music, San Francisco 49'ers and Johnny Taylor.
Ruthie is survived by Cheryl Durham - daughter, Adria Basley - daughter, Franchesca Womack - daughter (Noel Womack), Akeda Turner - daughter (Antonio Early), Jeffrey Turner - son ( Chasidy Barnes), Shadavius Turner - granddaughter, Quintae Turner - grandson, Deja Turner - granddaughter, Vashaun Turner - grandson, Dalaysia Dinkins - granddaughter, Zakayla Turner - granddaughter, Antonio Dawson - grandson, Kenteria Barnes - granddaughter, Keyshawn Dawson - grandson, Tavion Turner - grandson, Lataysia Turner - granddaughter, Kamari Turner - grandson, Carlton Basley Jr - brother ( Leola Basley), Timothy Basley - brother, Katherina Basley - sister, and great grandchildren-Mariah and Jacob Tennyson, Alayah Shade, Amani Turner, Ava and Miracle Dinkins.
Ruthie is preceded in death by Carlton Basley- father, Eula Basley- mother, James Turner - spouse, Eddie Basley - brother, Geraldine Watts - sister, Martha Basley - sister, Mary Owens - sister, Margaret Owens - sister
