Toyka Amechi Wheeler was born on September 30, 1985, in Fort Valley, GA to the mother of Mary Ann Lane and father Gregory Wheeler, raised by Sammie Lee Williams. She departed this life on June 18, 2024. Toyka attended the Houston County school system. Toyka was a great mother and devoted family member.
She was survived in death by her grandparents; Bertha Mae Lane and preceded in death by Willie B. Lane; preceded in death by Willie Mae Brooks, and Sylvester Wheeler; Also preceded in death by fiancé; Venus Rumph.

Survived in death by four children and one grandson: Shaunetrell Buckles, Cartrell Buckles, Ty’Corion Williams, ShaToyka Wheeler and Lamar Navi Yishai Walker; survived siblings; brother; Darius Williams, Derius Williams, and Sammie Williams Jr.; Sisters; Anteshia Wheeler, Shaketa Wheeler, Shalleta Wheeler, Sylvia English, and Devanie Williams; SyMia Simmons; devoted sister in-law; Delicia Williams; preceded in death by; Angel Renee Lane; LaTia Wheeler; survived by uncles; Clifford B. Lane, Willie B. Lane, Eddie Brooks, and James Brooks; Aunts; Tonja Turner, Shanella Lane, Shaunta Lane, Maggie Wheeler, Stalle Brooks, Samantha Hickey, Tasha Brown, Shirlene Bryant, and Tokyo Johnson; Godmother, Elsharonika Taylor; devoted nephews: KaDarius Wheeler & Emmanuel Dawson III and a host of nieces and, nephews, other relatives and friends.
