Obituary For Vivian Hood
Vivian Hood, 88, a home grown resident of Macon, GA passed away on December 23, 2023, in Atlanta, Ga at Emory Hospital.
Visitation will be January 7, 2024 Sunday from 2-4pm at Nelson's Memorial Mortuary.
Memorial services will be held 12:00pm January 8, 2024 at Nelson's Memorial Mortuary.

Vivian is survived by children: Emma Jean Maddox, Cleveland N. Hipp, Winfred Hipp, Yolanda Jackson(Willie Jackson), Robin Hood-Dardy(Antonio Dardy)
Grandchildren: Leonard Joubert III, Ashley Joubert, Brandi Joubert, Crystal and Valencia Hipp, Joshua &Wilanda Jackson, Altron Palmer, Lucas, Shianne
Siblings: Warrene (Dibb) Redding, William (Sam) Holmes (Lucille Holmes)
Nieces & Nephews and Great Grandchildren
Vivian is preceded in death by General Holmes (father), Mattie Holmes (mother) and Leonard Joubert III (Grandson)
A Mother's Love
A Mother's Love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and sacrifice and pain. It is endless and unselfish and enduring, come what may, for nothing can destroy it or take that love away. It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking. And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking. It believes beyond believing. & it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems. It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation. And it still remains a secret like the mysterious, a many-spledored miracle we cannot understand. And another wondrous evidence of God's tender, guiding hand.
