During my childhood I spent a lot of time around you; I knew you are my beloved Mother's brother, therefore my uncle but I called you as everyone else did...Albert James; I was not taught to call you uncle Albert probably because the age difference is not a lot of years btwn us. Of course, I remember when you were in grade school let alone your high school years at Carver. However, after having my own children, I made it a point to teach them to call you uncle Albert and it's been on like Popcorn ever since. Especially the relationship between you and your great-niece (my daughter). We all can reflect on the amazing talent in taking all that Granddaddy taught you but you took it to a whole new level. Albert, your good works will follow you and all who knew or don't will come to know your name and the gifts you left behind (Mr. Creative Fix-it!). We will look at your labor and be amazed w/our chest out saying, yeah, he's my fam but he belong to GOD. So rest from your labors Albert. We will, we must stand strong and trust the same GOD as you ❤️🌹❤️. Love you pass the moon, your eldest sister's daughter, Dawn Guy, Chicago, IL 🌹❤️🌹
Uncle Albert Guy was a remarkable soul who has touched my life and the lives of so many. Uncle Albert was not just a beloved uncle, but a pillar of strength, wisdom, and kindness. His warm smile and gentle demeanor could light up any room, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand and offering words of encouragement. Uncle Albert's presence was a source of inspiration and guidance for all who knew him. We will celebrate the beautiful memories we shared with him. May his legacy be a reminder to live life to the fullest, to embrace each day with gratitude, and to cherish the bonds we have with one another. Rest in peace, dear Uncle Albert. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Your loving niece, Patricia Cifax
