Sheila I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful sweet mother, Barbara. I have many fond memories of visits with Laura, Johnnie and Barbara. I had not seen them for many years and they welcomed me each time I visited. Although this has been many years ago I will cherish those memories always. My prayers to you and the family that you will find peace knowing that she is resting in the arms of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Linda Durham-Matthews
I am sorry to hear the news of BJ's passing. I worked with her at BellSouth for several years and have many fond memories. She made the work pleasant and fun. She kept us laughing and always boosted our spirits. BJ was a special friend and I pray God's grace and peace on the family through the grief process. I hope you find comfort in knowing that heaven gets sweeter when a loved one passes. Heaven sure got sweeter when BJ got there.
There are so many memories of our years working together. We started at Northern Telecom in the late 70s and continued to work together at BellSouth. We had lunch together everyday for years. BJ took a week off work to take care of Zac when he was first born and then kept him at the office until we found someone she thought was suitable to keep him. She showered him with love and gifts. She and Ken would joke that she was his ebony delight. She could make me laugh at just about anything. And she could piss me off one minute and hug her big time the next. She was sure a big influence to my early life. She will always hold a special place in my and my family's heart! My prayers are with Shelia and the family as they go through the grief process. I hate I lost touch with her after I left BellSouth. But I have fond memories of our years working together.
I had the pleasure of working with Barbara "BJ" at BellSouth in the late 80's and early 90's. She made work more fun for all of us. Regrettably, it has been years since I have experienced her love of life. Go Rest High, my friend!
I am so sorry to hear the passing of my friend and former BellSouth co-worker, Barbara Jean, aka, BJ! My prayers and condolences are to your entire family and friends. 🙏🙏❤️❤️🙏🙏
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
