So sorry I ain't get to see you bloom, missed the chapters that colored your room— from hopscotch to heartbreaks, from giggles to grace, I missed the becoming etched in your face.

Now to hear you passed on... My chest cracked hurt from this wrong. It ain't fair, Mya. Grief got a grip like barbed wire and fire. I loved y'all still even in my absence. I'm mad at time, and even sadder my goodbye wasn't there.
