Gregory Blake

It is said that 1st cousins are your first best friends. Although we grew up on opposite sides of the country I discovered that we still knew each other very well. It was always exciting to take the road trip from California to Tennessee for whatever the occasions were. I was always happy to see Peety and the all the rest of my cousins. The boys kept up with my athletic stats and would want to race me. To this day I still don't know who is faster. These memories are some that I will cherish and I lift in prayer all of the loved ones whom Gregory has left behind. Rest in peace strong, black man, cousin Peety.

The Austin Family send our Heartfelt Condolences to you all. Gregory and I have been best friends since the 2nd Grade. I will always remember the fun times in our clubbing days and skating ring days. Blake would often sing when we used to have talent shows at our apartment in the Carriage House Apartment days. We pray that God will strengthen you all during this most difficult time. To The Entire Blake Family, on the loss of your beloved brother, sending my heartfelt sympathy, especially to my former co-worker, Ronald Blake. I know you loved your brother, for I heard so many stories about his life, they were often so funny and full of amazing laughter that you wanted to meet the person who was being described, and I did get a chance to be in his presence and oh, what a wonderfully talented soul. He was kind, funny, and could sing, and always polite to those he met along the way through this journey called life. I know he will be missed down here, the family will always be able to pull up stories to remember him in a special way as a loving brother. May the memories of him fill your heart and know he will always be with you now and forevermore.

May God wrap His arms around the family during this difficult time and bring each and everyone of you comfort, knowing he's at peace now and has joined the angels above with his loved ones, who have gone on before him to live with Jesus. May God's goodness and mercy be with you all!!!
