Jo Ann Street

My husband, son, and I were so fortunate to have volunteered at so many park clean-ups with Miss Jo Ann. Her love for the city of Memphis and its parks--especially Gooch park--were infectious. Her legacy will live on through those who continue her heartfelt work.

I met Jo Ann through the Democratic Women and found her to be a very sweet kind gentle soul. We talked many times of her plans and work with the Parks. I could tell it was very important work to her and she truly was very dedicated to it. We will miss her.
