John Clinton Bradshaw, of Jonesboro, GA (formerly of Memphis, TN), transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, May 5, 2025. As a former educator, he rendered 28 years of service to Memphis City Schools as a math teacher and guidance counselor. John was predeceased in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Cherry Streeter Bradshaw.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Christi June Bradshaw Tate; his son-in-love, Markee Tate; and two grandchildren from their union, Camryn and Tilman Tate. He is also lovingly remembered by his sons, Eric Clinton Bradshaw and Dr. Steven Lamar Bradshaw Jones, along with his wife, Lytonya Johnson-Jones; their children, Jordan Audriel Allen and Josh Allen; and grandchildren, Jones Atlas Allen and Jackson Drew Allen. Also remembered are their daughter, Tiffani Wesson Clavelle, and her husband, Warren Clavelle, along with their granddaughter, Wesleigh Clavelle. John’s legacy of love also lives on through his bonus sons: Les Jones and his wife, Deborah Griffin Jones, and their children, Jonteh Jones, Ayesha McQuillion, and Julian Jones, Esq.; and Gregory Bradshaw, who also held a special place in John’s heart; and one sister, Nanette B. Hicks; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 12 S Parkway West. The service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Christ Missionary Baptist Church, 480 S Parkway East, followed by the burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue
