Leo McKinney 62, Passed on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Leo McKinney was born on April 13,1962 to the late Ozone McKinney and Dorothy Mae Floyd. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at the St. Joseph M.B. Church in Postelle, Arkansas. Leo McKinney matriculated through the Memphis Public, Shelby County school system, where he graduated from South Side High School in 1980.
Leo McKinney later served in the United States Army, and was stationed in Germany and obtained high honors and retired from
Shelby County Sheriff Department. He was preceded in death by both parents, two sisters, Connie Craig and Irma J Hoskins and four brothers, Eddie Floyd, Herman McKinney, Calvin McKinney, and Derrick McKinney.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Latavia McKinney, Anchorage Alaska ;sister, Ruthie Foster of Holly Springs, Mississippi, Linda McKinney of San Berdino, CA, Canary (McKenley) Scullark of Fredricksburg, VA Jeraldine Carter and Louis D. McKinney;brother, David McKinney all of Memphis, TN; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held 11:00am until service at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 9, 2024 all at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 12 S Parkway W, Burial will be at WTVC. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 901-948-7755
