Archbishop B.R. Wilson, 68, of 924 Woodway Lane, Rock Hill, South Carolina. He peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on July 15, 2025, at Atrium Health β Pineville.
There will be a visitation from 5:00 pm β 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Gethsemane Church 1637 Squire Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730.
Celebration of Life and Faith of Archbishop B.R. Wilson funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at Emmett Scott 825 Crawford Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730.
Burial will take place at Nazareth Baptist Church 128 Robertson Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730.
Family is receiving friends at the home of 924 Woodway Lane and 1312 Crawford Road.
Arrangements are under the direction Parker Funeral Home, 870 Saluda Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730
My heartfelt condolences go out to the Wilson family and the Gethsemane Church community. Reverend B. R. Wilson was not only a faithful servant of God, but also a personal mentor who profoundly impacted my life. I will always be grateful for the opportunity he gave me to preach my initial sermon at Boyd Hill Baptist Church. His life was marked by a deep commitment to uplifting others and proclaiming the gospel with clarity and conviction. He leaves behind a lasting legacy and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.

I have known Archbishop Billy Wilson almost my entire life.He performed my marriage ceremony and presided over my mother's and brothers funerals.I remember my mom told me ,she told Billy he was going to be a minister one day.She said he didnt believe her at the time ,as he was a very young man,doing young man things,but she was right.Not only did he become a reverand,he became an archbishop and a powerful speaker whose words would bring comfort to your soul. Billy,you will be missed ,but you will never ,ever be forgotten.Rest easy my friend.

I've known Billy Blue Pastor Bishop Arch Bishop for 30yrs. If I would call anyone my Pastor it would be him. I often visit his church and would always enjoy the service. I speak for his congregation the community and multiple states up and down the East Cost when I say he will be truly missed!
