Elder Daphne Carter, 53, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center. Born on January 4, 1972, in Rock Hill, she was the beloved daughter of Robert Lewis and Youvona Carter.
The Celebration of Life for Elder Daphne Carter will take place on Tuesday,
December 2, 2025 at New Home AME Zion
Church in York, SC 29745.
Visitation will be held on Monday,
December 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM- 7:00PM
at Parker Funeral Home Chapel.
New Home AME Zion Church
Quiet Time: 1:30 - 2:00 PM
Funeral: 2:00 PM
The interment will take place at New Home AME Zion Church Cemetery.

I had the pleasure of fellowship with Elder Daphne on different occasions in the ministry. She was dedicated to the work of God and now she will receive her reward. Sending much love to her family and friends and I pray that God will continue to provide comfort during your time of loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I knew Daphne from Clemson and beyond she was a woman of faith and brought joy wherever she went.
