Obituary For Lucy Huggins

Lucy LaMoure Huggins of Marion SC, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2019. She had been living in Rock Hill, SC since 2015. She was the widow of James P. Huggins Sr., also from Marion, SC. She was the daughter of Dwight D. and Dorothy E. LaMoure from Seattle, Washington, both deceased. Mrs. Huggins was also pre-deceased by her sister, Doris Coroch, from Everett, Washington. Her brother Don LaMoure is still a resident of Seattle Washington. She leaves behind three children; Lucinda H. Huggins of Rock Hill, SC; James P. Huggins (Candace) of Myrtle Beach; and Crystal Coleman (Edwin) of Columbia, SC. Mrs. Huggins was proud of her eleven grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren. She was beloved by her friends and family and will be sorely missed. There will be a memorial service at Mrs. Huggins' home church, Little Bethel Baptist Church in Marion County this Sunday, December 15th at 2:00. Mr. Maxie Hardee will officiate. "We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from this body and to live with the Lord". 2 Cor.5:8. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
