THIS IS REALLY HARD BECAUSE CHRIS WAS OUR NEPHEW AND ONE IN A MILLION. CHRIS WAS AWESOME WOULD DO WHAT HE COULD FOR YOU ONLY HAD TO ASK OR IF HE KNEW THE WANT HE SUPPLIED IT W/O YOU ASKING. WHEN YOU MEET HIM HIS SMILE SAID IT ALL. THIS IS ONE YOU WON'T FORGET. EVEN THOUGH OUR HEARTS ARE HURTING BUT REMEMBER HIS MOTHER, WIFE,CHILDREN AND SIBLING. RIP CHRIS PHYSICALLY GONE BUT MEMORIES FOREVER
Big Nic, my boy , just wanted to say that you were as genuine as they come! From the moment we met we became close and even though we weren't related we were definitely brothers! We helped each other through some difficult times in our early twenties and the talks and laughs that we shared, I knew some day you would be a great dad and mentor! We played on the same baseball team and would go swimming every day after practice you, me, Jon Brazzil @ Mike Melton's house! I remember you me and Labreece cutting up in your wedding man. There was only one thing you did that I didn't agree with (dip). You said smoke your cigars and I'll dip lol. Rest easy brother job well done! You were a true family man and I'm definitely gonna miss you! Chuck

I've known Chris "Big Nic" Nichols since elementary school, and from day one, he carried himself with unmatched confidence and grit. We shared the football field as kids and continued through to high school, where we made history by winning our school's (NWHS) first State Championship.
Nic always believed no one could outplay him—or out trash talk him—and honestly, he backed it up every time. I'll never forget that sweet halfback pass he threw at Rawlinson Road—smooth as Tom Brady. That was Nic—bold, fearless, and never afraid of the moment.
You were a beast on the field and a brother in life. Rest easy, Big Nic. One of the greatest defensive linemen to ever wear the Northwestern jersey. You will truly be missed.
May God's peace keep you in perfect peace at this sad time in your life. We pray God's Blessing upon his family.
