Daryl Morris, born on September 27, 1975, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 11, 2026. He was cherished deeply by his family and friends and will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and boundless generosity.

Daryl was the beloved husband of Michelle Morris, whom he married on September 25, 2016. Together, they shared a beautiful life enriched by their three children: Brittney Morris, Sydney Morris, and Quinton Reynders. Daryl was also a treasured brother to his sister, Melanie Marin, and brother-in-law to Dejan Marin. He was a loving uncle to Anica and Roko Marin, and Terry Alexander Moore, and a supportive stepbrother to David Hooper, his wife Jackie, and their children, Kaylen and Addison Hooper.

He was predeceased by his parents, Judy Moore and Michael Morris, his stepfather Terry Moore, his brother David Morris, and his daughter Alivia Morris. Daryl's family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with them.

Daryl's professional life was vibrant and fulfilling. As a sous chef at Flipside Restaurant, he was known for his quick problem-solving abilities and his talent in the kitchen. His colleagues remember him fondly as a kind, patient teacher who was always a joy to work with. His secret ingredient was love, which he infused into every dish he prepared.

Beyond his work, Daryl was a man of many talents and interests. He was incredibly skilled at hunting and fishing, and in recent years, he became passionate about bird hunting. He was a true jack-of-all-trades, capable of fixing anything or teaching anyone to cook or sew. His warmth and willingness to help others left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A service to celebrate Daryl's life will be held on September 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Parker’s Funeral Home, located at 870 Saluda Street, Rock Hill, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Daryl’s honor.

Daryl was a special soul, touching the lives of everyone he met. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. As his family lovingly says, he is "Forever with us in our hearts."
