David Kennedy, 80, was born on January 15, 1946, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to Mary Louise Kennedy.

He passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Howard University Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Parker Funeral Home.

A home-going celebration will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Parker Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201.
