My Uncle - Donald Lee Hardin. He was a kind and gentle soul who deeply cared about our community.... Uncle Donald was a regular attendee at the Sunset Park Neighborhood meetings, where he passionately advocated for the well-being and upkeep of our neighborhood. He always ensured that the city took responsibility for its maintenance.... I will forever cherish the fresh vegetables he would leave at my doorstep, along with the many conversations we shared, both long and short. I made sure to express my love and gratitude to him whenever I could, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have done so.... We need more people like Uncle Donald, even at his age. He made a significant difference in our community, and his absence will be deeply felt. We will miss him dearly. Love, your niece Alice Hardin-MEEKS and family.
