James Morton passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. James was from Rock Hill, SC

James is survived by his wife, Nancy Morton; children, Amanda and Brandy(Marcellus) Gibson; Grandchildren, Paige and Evan "Bubba" Thomas and Shakira and Isaiah Sibley; sister, Patricia Gunter brothers, Aston and Stacy Morton and Henry(Caroline) Taylor; nieces, Misty and Lacey Gunter, Mcihelle(Kenny) Lowery, Brianna, Madison, Hannah, and Lillie Morton, Michaela and Rebekah St. Clair, Amber Stikeleather, Caroline andJessica Atkins: nephews, Michael,, Chris(Stacy), Davin, Trevor Gunter, Xavier Morton, Charles Morton lll, and Charles Morton lV, Stephen and Blake St. Clair, Jesse(Sabrina) Ferrell, Justin Crawford and Derrick Atkins sister in law Sharon Morton and godson John Roberts and lots of close friends and extended family!

He is proceeded in death by his father, Charles Morton Sr; mother, Vivian Ball-Wheeler; brothers Charles Morton Jr and Robert Gibson; sister, Donna Eden

The family will receive family and friends at the house and a celebration of life is planned for February 5, 2023 at the home.
