Obituary For Mr. James Todd McCray
Mr. James Todd McCray, of Lancaster, SC, passed away on April 17, 2026. Born on July 20, 1964, in Pageland, SC, he was the beloved son of the late James Thomas McCray and Bobbie Hilton McCray.
Todd is survived by his wife, Laura “L” McCray, his children Caleb McCray of Chesapeake, VA, Jordan (Sara) McCray, of Rock Hill, SC, and Olivia McCray (Cameron Faulkenberry) of Waxhaw, NC, and grandchildren Cohen, Layton, Madelyn, Henry and Melanie McCray and another grandchild due in August. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Julie McCray.
Todd spent his life with a passion for cooking and was the former owner of Dairy-O in Pageland, SC. He was an avid Gamecock fan and will be remembered for his kindness, humor, strength, and love of family.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Wolf Pond Baptist Church, 78 Wolf Pond Church Road, Pageland, SC, 29728. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Casual attire is welcome.
We would like to give special thanks to Providence Hospice for their compassionate care and to Todd’s best friend, Ty Burns, for his support of Todd and his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Todd may be made to the Wolf Pond Baptist Youth Ministry.
