Jerry Allen Braswell
1958-2025
On Saturday June 21, 2025, Jerry A. Braswell, 67, passed away peacefully at home.
Jerry was born in Marion, NC on January 10, 1958, to Slite S. Braswell, Jr. and Bernice F. Braswell. Jerry served in both the Marine Corps and the Army. He had a great love of the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Donna Nichols Braswell, children Christina Elkins (Tommy), John Braswell (Chrystal), and Tiffany Alexander (Pat), his mother Bernice Braswell, his sister Lela Braswell, honorary children and close friends Tavaris Smarr and Melissa Nguyen, grandchildren: Jackson, Laney, Gus, Justin, Ryan, Travis, Casey, Matthew, Josh, Anna, Dalton, Allison, and Joshua Jr., 6 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Slite Braswell, his brother Michael C. Braswell, 2 infant sisters Donna and Angela, and granddaughter Tiana Collins.
Family and friends are invited to a drop in visitation on Wednesday June 25th from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at his daughter’s home 2075 Holland Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. An additional hour of visitation will take place on Thursday June 26th from 12:30pm - 1:30pm prior to the service at Cultivate Church. The Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday June 26th at 2:00pm at Cultivate Church, 1025 Saluda St, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

I have known Jerry just about all my life ,we grew up together. We had a lot of good times as a kid and juvenile he will be missed in so many ways My thoughts and prayers are with the family RIP my friend Barry L Smith
Aunt Bernice and family, were so sorry to here of Jerry's passing. I have so many memories of times with Jerry and Mike playing when we visited on vacation at Grandma's in Spruce Pine or your house and popping fire crackers or bottle rockets when we were kids.
