Kevin was tenant and started out with a good tenancy. He was intelligent conversationalist and could debate his point. Ultimately I had evicted from my home with 4K plus in outstanding rent bills (why he was removed), I am still getting to pay fines from city over year later as appearantly he used the charlotte city code enforcement office as his lawn servcie at the end of his tenancy it appears. Also a few days before the eviction lockout was to be executed because neighbors called me saying was some sort of altercation at my unit that kevin inhabited night before and my front door was basically burned down. This was not in total hood, but like a 15-1800 rental community. So when showed up that was case so I found inside what the police described as a local prostitute, drug adict, porch pirate lady who was known to cops and her pimp/boyfriend. Myself and police convined them would be wise to leave and never come back. So in addition to loosing rent for final 4 months, being told I was racist or MF'er or shit bag or one of the plethora of other misdirections of criticism Mr. Kevin used in our interactions when discussing items of personal responsibility. I got the pleasure of buying and replaceing another $1000 door as a parting gift and redoing the home to make it presentable for another family to reside. Just wish Kevin could have gotten some help while was alive. I am sorry for the families loss and honestly my own loss having taken a chance on renting property to Kevin Simms. I just got the pleasure of paying off the final city of charlotte bill (I hope) and Kevin left my property well over year ago.

Kevin,I love you with all my heart, and will miss your Witt smile, and your laugh. Our hearts are broken, the chain is broken. But we will see you again. Tell everyone we said hi, and we will see you again. Love Christal
