**In Loving Memory of Lamar "Bull" Stowers 🕊️**

There is something especially cruel about losing someone when the laughter is still fresh, the hugs are still warm in your memory, and the photographs from your last gathering haven't even had time to become old.

Just weeks ago, we were making memories. The cousins' trip, the family reunion, Shell's 50th birthday celebration. So much laughter, love, fellowship, and togetherness. Moments that seemed so ordinary then, but have suddenly become extraordinary treasures.

Who could have imagined that we were not simply making memories, but collecting moments we would one day desperately wish we could revisit?

Oh, how I wish there had been more time. Another cousins' trip. Another family reunion. Another birthday celebration. Another opportunity to laugh until our stomachs hurt, embrace one another, and simply enjoy the blessing of being together.

**The hardest part of death isn't only saying goodbye. It's grieving all the hellos that will never happen.** The memories we won't get to make. The photographs you'll be missing from. The empty space where your presence should have been.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 (KJV) reminds us:

*"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ... A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance."*

But Lord, this season of mourning came far too soon.

Bull, I am grateful that God allowed our lives to intersect through Desmond and this beautiful family. I am grateful for every gathering, every conversation, every laugh, and every moment I was privileged to share. I will forever cherish the love this family so freely extends and the memories we made together.

To your beloved wife, your children, your siblings, and the entire Stowers family, my heart aches alongside yours. There are no words eloquent enough to soften a loss this profound. I pray that God meets each of you in the quiet moments, when the visitors have gone home, the phone stops ringing, and the weight of his absence becomes almost unbearable.

Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV) declares:

*"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."*

And Psalm 34:18 (KJV) assures us:

*"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."*

Today, I don't pretend to understand God's timing. I don't have an explanation for why someone so loved had to leave so soon. I simply trust that the same God who allowed us the blessing of loving Bull will sustain us through the heartbreak of missing him.

**We wanted more memories, Lord. More birthdays. More reunions. More ordinary Tuesdays. Just more time.**

And while our hearts lament what will never be on this side of heaven, we give thanks for what was.

Rest peacefully, Bull. Your earthly chapter ended long before any of us were ready, but the love you leave behind will continue telling your story.

**Until we meet again.** 🕊️

With heartfelt love, prayers, and deepest sympathy,

Teesha Miller
