Ray Graham on September 23rd, 2021, the loving gates of heaven opened wide to welcome Ray Shelton Graham home, where the angels awaited to embrace his soul with internal peace, love, and acceptance. Ray passed away at home with his loving daughter and caregiver, forever at his side, Shanna Graham. Ray suffered with a chronic medical condition for two years and succumbed to his illness on that sad fall day. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Ray managed his illness with strength and grace. Each day he strived to live, his body too weak to be, his love will live forever, since his heart has set him free. Now he walks so bravely , he feels the pain no more. Angels came to suede him to heaven’s door. Ray Graham was born to Shelton and Louise Graham. He graduated from Rock Hill High School. Raina was taken from this earth to soon. Her saw was too pure to remain with us. Ray knew this all too well. He knew God needed her as an angel to shine her rainbow down upon us. I know his angel, Raina, will await him at heavens gate with loving arms. Ray Graham is survived by his 3 children, Shana Graham, Brent Graham, and Amanda Graham. Ray’s daughter, Shana Graham, has being by his side through his courage’s battle with his illness. She helped suide him through as he battled serious medical issues over the past few years. Each day he showed courage and faced the challenges with a positive attitude. Despite the pain, Ray stayed strong until the end. I know that you are no longer suffering and we at peace. Dad, you will forever be my hero.
The angels gathered near your side so very close to you for they knew the pain and suffering that you were going through; I thought about so many things As I held tightly to your hand Oh, how I wished that you were strong and happy once again.
But your eyes were looking homeward to that place beyond the sky where Jesus held his outstretched arms it was time to say Good-bye.
I struggle with my selfish thoughts for I wanted you to say so we could talk again like we did ….just yesterday!
A father’s touch, a daddy’s kiss, a grieving daughter, the dad I will always miss, an empty house, an empty chair, a father’s love, no longer there, a broken heart, tear filled eyes, another soul in the sky, the times we shared, the laughs we had, these are the things I will miss about my dad.
They say there is a reason, they say time will heal. Neither time or reason will change the way I feel. I pray that God will give me strength and somehow get me through………as I struggle with the heartache that came when I lost you. I will wait for the day when I can be with again, and I see you standing there smiling at me. I miss you so much dad!
