Steven, your struggles are over. You have a new body and walking with Jesus. We miss you but we will meet again! And as you always ended with "love ya."
It's so difficult to find the right words... Steven was a light that shone around our family for as long as he was among us. As a child (being the corrupt uncle that I am) I always promised him around the Holidays that we were going to go "Christmas Shoplifting" together. His parents didn't seem very enthralled with the idea and even Steven knew I was joking, but somehow, we both looked forward to that little excursion.
Most recently, he spent some time living in Shelby, not too far from me. This afforded me the opportunity to spend an entire day with him. We talked of times passed, broke bread together and he seemed proud to introduce me to his friends. I'll never forget that day.
Steven, if you never do anything else, please know that you were and are still loved. God had a reason for calling you home, far be it from me to ask why... What I do know is that I will see you again. I can't wait for that day. I LOVE YOU!
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
