Mr. Steven Nathaniel “Pete” Carter, age 60, of 942-102 West Liberty Street, Liberty, South Carolina, passed away on October 30, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Celebration of Life for Steven Nathaniel “Pete” Carter visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Parker Funeral Home Chapel.
Immediately after the visitation, the Homegoing Celebration will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel, bringing loved ones together to honor Pete’s life and legacy. Following the service, family and friends are invited to share memories and pay tribute to Pete’s life, reflecting on the many ways he touched those around him. The gathering will offer an opportunity for heartfelt remembrances and support, honoring Pete’s enduring legacy in a spirit of fellowship and compassion.

Burial will take place at Greater Unity AME Zion Church Cemetery 1690 Highway 97, Sharon, South Carolina.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the comforting thoughts, prayers, and support extended during this time, and encourages all who knew Pete to cherish his memory by extending kindness and generosity to others, just as he did throughout his life.
