Obituary For Mr. William "Bill" Blocker
Mr. William "Bill" Blocker 77, of Van Wyck, SC passed away peacefully at his home on October 2,2021. Born to Willie L Blocker and Ada Mae Anderson Blocker in Tattnall County, Ga on May 8,1944. He moved to South Carolina in 1963. He retired from General Tire after 25 years of service as a tire builder. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed NASCAR racing and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol Totherow Blocker, two daughters Connie (Rusty) Brannon of Van Wyck,SC and Dawn (Steven)Cobb of Pembroke, Ga, two sons Brett (Kelly) Blocker of Harker Heights, TX and Lester (Susan) Blocker of Salem, NY. He had 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Three sisters Allene Tootle and Delena Lamb of Claxton, Ga and Joyce (Neil) Jackson of Cody, WY and two brothers Jimmy (Caroline) Blocker of Hagan, Ga and Curtis Blocker of Manassas, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters. Per his request there will be no service.
