Alice Mary “Joey” Mulholland
Alice Mary “Joey” Mulholland, 83, passed away on July 20, 2026, in Pineville, North Carolina.
Born on August 21, 1942, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Joey spent many years as a beloved resident of Bristol, Pennsylvania, before moving to the Carolinas, to be closer to her family.
Joey was a hard worker and was full of energy. She was a manager at Barnett Inc. in Bristol, PA where she retired after over 30 years of service.
Joey was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Bruce Mulholland, who passed away in 2014. She married the love of her life on August 26, 1989, and shared a beautiful life together. They enjoyed going on adventures together and especially loved traveling to Ocean City, Maryland, where they made countless cherished memories.
Joey was a fun loving adventure seeker and a bit of a prankster. She was always filled with laughter and a smile and gave the best hugs.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Alfred William “Bill” Jayne and Alice Jayne (Cook); son, Donnie Baskins; her grandchildren, JD Baskins and Joshua Baskins; and her siblings, Alfred “Skip” Jayne, Shirley Woelk, and William “Billy” Jayne.
Joey is survived by her siblings, Jacqueline “Jackie”Dennis and David Jayne. She leaves behind her children: Clarence Baskins; Al Baskins (Susan), Sherry Green (Eddie), JC Baskins, and Mary Baskins (Kingsley Deese).
She was grandmother to Natasha Baskins, Crystal Hood, Bo Hood, Michael Worley, Donald Worley, Blake Baskins, Desiree Crounse, and Ashley Baskins. She was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
In her later years, Joey was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Mary, whose unwavering devotion, compassion, and selfless care allowed her mother to spend her final years surrounded by love and dignity. Their bond was a testament to the strength of family and unconditional love.
Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with those who went before her. Her love, laughter, and memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 1pm at Temple Baptist Church located at 281 Celriver Rd Rock Hill, SC 29730.

I am so blessed and grateful to have had you in my life all these years. I miss you immensely and will love you and miss you for the rest of my life. Your smile and laughter will forever be etched in my memory. We shared a very special bond. I am relieved that you are no longer suffering and are together again with Paw Paw, my dad, Aunt Shirley, and Grandma Jayne. Thank you for all the special memories and showering me with your love. I am thankful I got to spend last Christmas with you. Ashley and I were reminiscing the other day of memories from our childhood. Shopping trips with Grandma Jayne, visiting with Aunt Shirley and Shirleyanne, going to the shore with you and Aunt Shirley, learning to swim in your pool, ruining dinner because we ate lots of fruit while Pawpaw was outside grilling, feeding the birds and squirrels, going to our first air show where we saw the Blue Angels, Making you nauseous on the Dumbo ride at Disney, Eating lollipops as big as our faces, finding Easter Eggs in Pawpaws shoes, playing on McDonald's playgrounds and Pawpaw almost getting stuck in the slide, visiting Sesame Place, shopping for jelly shoes, celebrating Nick's first birthday, walking hand in hand with my babies to have lunch at Olive Garden, trips for Ice Cream at Carolina Scoops, Snapchats with Allie, fishing at Aunt Sherry's and Donald's place with the kids. There are so many more memories. I could go on and on. I will keep your memory alive with my babies and tell them stories of our time together. I will show them pictures and make sure they know how much they were loved. Allie will continue to be reminded that she was named after you and her Pawpaw Al. They will be told about the bubblegum Easter Eggs from the Easter Bunny and how Grammy and Pawpaw ordered them from the bunny for us when we were little girls. I love you so so much Grammy. Give my love to Dad and PawPaw.
