Mary Ruth Garrison , 68, of Heath Springs, South Carolina entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 30, 2026.

Born November 15, 1957, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Ruth was a resident of Rock Hill, South Carolina most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Jo Gordon of Rock Hill, South Carolina. She leaves behind her husband Ken Garrison, Sr and her children Kendra Gordon of Heath Springs, South Carolina and Devin Moree of Indianapolis, IN. She also leaves behind her sister Wanda Mauldin of Fort Lawn, South Carolina and her best friend of 25 years Trisha McFalls of Clover, South Carolina.

Her faith and love for her family were at the center of her life. She found joy in the simple things. She loved to read and talk to others. Her love for Jesus guided her throughout her life and was evident in the kindness and warmth she extended to others. Her caring spirit, unwavering faith, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2pm at Grace Freewill Baptist Church in Lancaster, South Carolina with Rev. Roger Anders officiating the service.
