Tanja Maxine New, aged 69 of Gastonia, North Carolina. Tanja was born April 28, 1956 to Virgil New and Mary Francis Baylor in Greenwood, South Carolina. Tanja went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 18, 2025 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

There will be a viewing Sunday, May 25, 2025
from 5 pm – 7 pm at Parker Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Greater Weeping Mary Baptist Church 1799 Old Hwy 321, Clover, SC.

Burial will take place at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia, NC.
