Our Sincerest Condolences to Hope, Charles and the family for their loss. I remember my cousin Willie Mae as being a very strong, confident, loyal woman that strived for excellence in all that she did. I vividly remember her serving as an Usher at Mt. Zion Church of God (in Ft. Mill) which was done with pride, consistently & honor. One of their finest. Rest-in-Heavenly--Peace Cousin.
I have warm memories of Ms. Willie Mae. I remember her laugh, a mix of a smile and a giggle. I remember her offer to drop me off at school to save me the walk, and the small life lessons that didn't register as a child. Reflecting, as an adult, Ms. Willie Mae's kind words and actions left a positive imprint. I am grateful. Thank you, rest well and be at peace, Ms. Willie Mae.
Once again a special person in the Pine Ridge community has said I will move on to a better place. I can say that I will miss asking how she is doing, but now know she is fine. To the family I say you are blessed to have had a mother, grandmother and great grandmother that was for real. And to me a friend when in need.
May God bless and comfort you in your time of sorrow. The Storyteller's Gospel Show.
