Obituary For Robert “Bobby” Leroy Evans

Robert “Bobby” Leroy Evans, Sr of York, SC passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. He was born June 19, 1949 at Devine Savior Hospital in York, SC.

Bobby is survived by his only child, Robert “Bobby Jr” Evans, Jr, his granddaughters, Ashley, Emily, and Blayze Evans, his great-grandchildren, Remi, Colton, and Landon and great-granddaughter coming soon. Bobby is also survived by his first love, Debbie, his daughter-in-law Tara, two grandsons, Hunter and Cole, and numerous other family and friends.

Bobby loved talking about cars especially antique cars. He loved hunting and fishing although he didn’t get to go as much as he would have liked. He enjoyed watching old westerns and car shows with his son and grandchildren.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, great-grandson Maverick, daughter-in-law Lisa, and countless other friends and family.

A memorial service for Bobby will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1pm at Rapture Ready Church, 5144 Black Hwy, Smyrna, SC.
