Ken had a love for family & friends, music & concerts, movies & TV shows, people watching, gardening, the outdoors, food, comics, doodling, poetry, joking and laughing. He had endless stories he could recall in great detail to anyone who would listen. Along with his love of all things in life, he was a proud father and grandfather. He was a Renaissance Man and never lost his passion for learning and teaching himself (and others) new things.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to diabetes/heart foundations or animal shelters as he did so very frequently. We would also love to collect memories/stories to make a memory book. Memorial service to be announced.
So sorry to hear of Ken's passing - may his soul rest in peace. I worked with Ken when he was on 2nd shift at State Farm. He was an interesting fellow and always had a good story to tell. I'm sure he is missed by all. My deepest sympathy and prayers to his family. God bless, Kay
Kenny was my very first boyfriend. A sweet and loving soul, who loved to talk and write poetry. He was passionate about life, and loved his friends and family with a fierceness and intensity unmatched by anyone else I have ever met.
When we caught up several years ago, all he could talk about was his love for his beautiful daughter. She meant the absolute world to him. He was the same kind, sweet man I remembered from the 80s.
I'm heartbroken for your family, and for the world to have lost such a beautiful soul. I know you're with God, Kenny. I hope you're making everyone laugh and feel cared about like you did here. We will always miss you. - Dawn Lakey Hynes
Ken, thank you so much for your friendship in the short time we knew each other. You were there to lend an ear during some trying times, and I appreciated it so much. It was funny how many interests we shared and of course all the laughs. I am going to miss our talks and of course comparing notes on movies and music. Rest in peace scro. Praying for your family. - Eric Davidson
