Deacon Mango Davis of Marianna, FL entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 22, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on April 24, 1953 to the late Mango Bryant and Godfrey Lee Davis.
Mango was a faithful servant of God and devoted member of the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board and in the brotherhood ministry.
He was employed by the Yon Vault Company for some years before working and retiring from the state of Florida at Sunland Center Marianna as a Human Services Senior Supervisor where he committed his career to serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
He was married to Lizzie Mae Speights in 1973 and to this union three children were born, Mango Jr, Marisa, and Brian.
He leaves to honor his life and legacy his wife of 52 years Lizzie Mae Davis of Marianna, FL. his three adoring children, Mango Davis, Jr., Marisa Davis, and Brian Davis all of Marianna, FL. He will be deeply remembered by his grandchildren that worshipped the ground he walked on, Tristan Davis, Brianna Davis, and Maria Davis also all of Marianna, FL. four brothers, Charlie Davis of Jacksonville, Fl, Joseph Davis (Flora) and Robert Davis (Sandra) both of Marianna, FL and Isaac Davis (Rosalyn) of Pampano Beach, FL; one sister, Elizabeth Wooten of Marianna, FL; his brothers-in-law, John M. Speights (Agnes) of Marianna, FL, and Walter Speights of South Orange, NJ, sisters-in-law Emma Dildy of Brooklyn, NY; Mildred Holden (Clarence), Lucille Kirkland (Billy), Lizzie Speights, Rachael Speights and Valerie Slater all of Marianna, FL, also a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
