Deacon William Charles Bryant of Marianna, Florida entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 24th at Chipola Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was 73 years old.
He was a native of Jackson County, of the Baptist faith and a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon.
Charles leaves to cherish his phenomenal life and legacy, a truly loving and devoted family of BELOVED SONS, Christopher Bryant and wife Kimberly of Atlanta, Georgia, William ‘Al’ Bryant and wife Dedra of St. Petersburg, Florida and Frederick ‘Red’ Bryant and wife Mieshun of Fresno, California; GRANDCHILDREN, Myett Cobb, Jayden Bryant, Alex Bryant, Jaylen Bryant and Allen Bryant; GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; BROTHERS, James ‘Abby’ Bryant, Gerald ‘Frank’ Bryant and wife Faye, Bobby Bryant and wife Mae, Kelvin Bryant and wife Annabelle, Dwight Bryant, Craig Bryant and Johnny Hoper; SISTERS, Sandra Bryant Bray and husband Rosevelt, Annette Bryant and A’Quinda McKay; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and grieving friends. Charles reared April Nicole Blandenburg as his own— and treated her children J'kwan Young, Keymondtrae Blandenburg, and Ashton Blandenburg as they were his own grandchildren.
A public viewing will be Friday, October 11th at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel from 3-6pm. A homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, October 12th at 11:00am at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dwight Cockerham, Sr., Reverend Eric Clark, Reverend Norris Calhoun and Reverend Robert Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
