Leah Ann Colston-Baker earned her wings on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1971, in Carmel, CA to Clara Aliganga and stepfather, Willie Thames Jr.
Leah graduated from Pensacola High School, class of 1989. She went on to earn AA degree from Tallahassee Community College. BS degree in Biochemistry from Florida State University. Masterβs degree in public health Epidemiology and Biostatistics from University of West Florida. Upon graduation, Leah worked with the State of Florida Department of Health for over 20 years. She then retired to become a truck owner alongside her daughter Jasmyne.
Leah was a loving, vibrant, compassionate, determined mother, grandmother and wife. She was well known for her positive mindset, solution-based thinking, living a life without fear, pure spirit and her love for travel. Her love and presence will be missed and felt by many.
Preceded in death by her brother: Nathan Aliganga. Grandparents: Christopher and Masako Gothreau.
She leaves Dexter Baker and children: Christopher Colston, Jasmyne Colston and Brandon Baker. Grandchildren: NaβZihia Betsey, Summer Colston, Weston Colston, Delilah Colston and Leo Colston.

A Celebration of Leah's life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 am EST at Calvary Chapel Tallahassee located at 8614 Mahan Dr. in Tallahassee, FL with Pastor Jim Dean officiating.
Public viewing will take place on Saturday at the church from 9:00 AM until time for the services at 11:00 AM.
A private interment for family will take place at the Culley's Meadowood Memorial Park on Timberlane Road in Tallahassee, FL.
The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the caring staff and licensed professionals at Peoples Funeral Home in Marianna, FL.
