Little Master Ce’Nario Roland Scott, more affectionately known as ‘Ro’ received the precious gift of life on July 24, 2018, in Marianna, Florida to Nyleah Merritt and Clifford Scott, Sr. He gained his wings at the tender age of five at home with his family on November 25, 2023, in Panama City, Florida.
Ro was a kindergartener at Oscar Patterson Academy in Panama City, Florida. He also attended Panama City PPEC where the staff loved and adored him! Ro was the HAPPIEST child ever despite what some would call a disability, but his family and loved ones would like to refer to as SUPERPOWERS. Ro lit up every room he walked in with a smile, a hug or a simple “HEY”! Though he lived a short life, he made a HUGE IMPACT on everyone around him and made sure he enjoyed every minute whether playing with his siblings or playing with his cars, it was never a DULL moment. He further enjoyed going to the park and watching BOSS BABY.
Treasured memories will forever linger with his mother, Nyleah Merritt Willis and husband Lennox of Panama City, Florida; father, Clifford Scott, Sr. of Marianna, Florida; brothers, Clifford Scott, Jr., Lennon Willis and Kaidance Wynn; sisters, Tykeyah Poole and Alexcia Scott; grandmother, Tondre Merritt; great grandmother, Naomi Merritt; aunts, Taylor Merritt, Keya Gray, Vernick Cooley, Everline Brown (Otis), Barbara Franklin (Adreian) and Kattie McCalister; uncles, Isiah Merritt, Kyle Merritt, Galvin Dent, Johnnie Dent, James Chaney (Carolyn) and Benjamin Scott (Pamela); nephew, Azari Spencer; and a host of cousins, other relatives and loved ones.
The family will receive friends at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 8th from 3-6p.m.
A Service of Love will be held Saturday, December 9th at 2p.m. at Jerusalem AME Church where Reverend Adrienne McClendon is pastor and Superintendent Delano Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
