Obituary For Mr Christopher “Baby Boi” Hearns

Christopher Hearns, beloved son of Raymond Hearns and Mattie Wilson-Clemmons, was born on May 10, 1983, in Marianna, Florida. He sadly passed away on August 28, 2024, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and laughter.

Chris attended Grand Ridge High School where he excelled in his studies and made lifelong friends. He furthered his education at Chipola College where he pursued his passion for learning and expanding his knowledge.

One of Chris’ favorite pastimes was cooking. He could often be found in the kitchen whipping up delicious meals and sharing them with loved ones. His culinary skills were unmatched and his creations brought joy to all who had the pleasure of tasting them.

Although Chris did not have any children of his own, he was a loving son, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Precious memories will remain with his loving and caring mother, Mattie Wilson-Clemmons of Marianna, Florida; one brother, DeWayne (Shaun) Granberry of Mountain View, California; one sister, Nancy L. Wilson of Marianna, Florida; two uncles, Moses Wilson of Tampa, Florida and Reverend Nelson Wilson of Tallahassee, Florida; one aunt, Brenda Nobles of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 7, 2024 at 1 pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Revs Kelvin Williams, Joseph Curry, Wallace Godwin, and Rev Dr Nelson Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the Caring Staff of Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna Fl directing. Public viewing will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 3pm to 6 pm at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.
