Obituary For Mr. Eric Tremaine Holmes
ERIC TREMAINE HOLMES, 42, of Greenwood, Florida, entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2026. Eric was born on November 12, 1983, in Marianna, Florida, to Craig Holmes and Gail Holmes.
Eric was a proud graduate of Marianna High School, Class of 2002. Continuing his education, he attended Chipola College, where he studied in the vocational computer program.
A man of faith and service, Eric faithfully served as a media and sound technician at Deliverance Baptist Church. Through the church’s Deliverance Outreach Ministry, he helped serve the community by praying for those who came through the church’s food distribution events, offering both encouragement and compassion to many in need.
Eric had a joyful spirit and a love for the simple things that brought him happiness. He thoroughly enjoyed online gaming and especially valued the time he spent playing with his gaming friend, Kyle Schmidt. Among his many passions was a deep love for music.
Eric had a creative heart and found joy in songwriting, often spending many happy hours expressing himself through music and storytelling. Above all else, Eric’s life was guided by his love for God. His faith was evident in his words, his actions, and in the kindness and care he showed to others each day.
