Mr. Michael J. Clemmons, Sr., affectionately call Man-Man of Marianna, Florida gained his heavenly wings on February 12, 2022 in Campbellton, Florida. He was 48 of age.
Man-Man’s life began January 10, 1974 in Marianna, Florida to the late Arleatha White and Willie B. Hearns, Sr.
He accepted Christ into his life and joined New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He attended the public schools of Jackson County and was a graduate of Marianna High School.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Willie A. Hearns.
He leaves a lifetime of love and precious memories that will be cherished with a loving and long-time devoted friend, Queen Session of Campbellton, Florida; four precious children, Karisma Killings, Renay Clemmons, Jiya Newton and Michael Clemmons Jr.; three step-children, Gjerith McKinnie, Reese McKinnie and Demitruis McKinnie; eight sisters, Janice Hearns of Marianna, Florida, Sharon White and husband Frank, Brenda Hearns (Willie) of Greenwood, Florida, Sonya Stringer and husband Calvin of Cottonwood, Alabama, Samantha Hearns (Terrance), Katisha Williams and husband Willie, Debra Hearns and Pearlie Hearns all of Greenwood, Florida; six brothers, Torence Clemmons of Marianna, Florida, Willie B. Hearns Jr. of Dothan, Alabama, Ron Hearns and wife Von of Ashford, Alabama, Anthony Hearns of Greenwood, Florida and Thomas Hearns of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Solemn Farewell will be held Saturday, February 26th at 11a.m. at New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Gregory Gathers, Rev. Robert Baker, Minister Hardy Hill and Min. Calvin Clemmons officiating. Interment will follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
