Mr. Tavis Deontre Sherman of Marianna, Florida entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 19th at home. He was 25 years old.

He was a 2015 graduate of Marianna High School. He was employed with the Family Dollar Distribution Center.

Treasured memories of Tavis will forever remain with his parents, Debra and King Sherman, Jr. of Marianna, Florida; three brothers, Demetri Lovett and wife Shaneika, Juwan Lovett and wife Latilya, Jerrell Lovett and Adam Bruton all of Marianna, Florida; one sister, Shante Lovett of Marianna, Florida; maternal grandmother, Betty Hartsfield (George) of Marianna, Florida; paternal grandparents, Pauline Bowers Fed and husband Cory of Greenwood, Florida and King Sherman, Sr. of Sneads, Florida; four aunts, Phyllis Holland of Greenwood, Florida; Yolanda Sherman of Jacksonville, Florida, Holly Graham of Tampa, Florida and Kisha Sherman of Marianna, Florida; two uncles, Jonathan Hartsfield and wife Quanisha and Andrew Sherman both of Greenwood, Florida; five great uncles, Glenn Williams, Jamie Bowers both of Greenwood, Florida, Lee Arthur Williams, Terry Williams and wife Mimmie both of Marianna, Florida and David Bowers of Augusta, Georgia; five great aunts, Emma Gilbert, Elmira Bowers, Phyllis Bowers all of Greenwood, Florida, Jackie Bowers of Augusta, Georgia and Lula Smith and husband Ben of Sneads, Florida; god parents, Patricia and Richard Mason; special cousin, Caleb Sherman; best friends, Bop and Neil Gillis Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Solemn Farewell will be held graveside Saturday, June 26th at 1:00p.m. at Mt. Cello AME Church Cemetery with Min. Hardy Hill and Min. Lonnie Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
