Obituary For Mrs. Jeanette Godfrey Myrick

Jeanette Godfrey Myrick of Marianna entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 28th in Jackson Hospital. She was 59 years of age.

She leaves treasured memories with two daughters, Alison Myrick and Courtney Myrick both of Marianna, Florida; five grandchildren, Tamarion Moore, Aaliyah Myrick, Prinston Thomas, Jamari Lewis and Melani Godwin all of Marianna, Florida; one sister, Dorothy Wilson of Greenwood, Florida; four brothers, Willie Lee Godfrey of Greenwood, Florida, Jerry Godfrey and wife Tina of Chattahoochee, Florida, Earnest Godfrey, Jr. and Kenneth Godfrey both of Sneads, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held graveside Saturday, August 7th at 1p.m. at Springfield A.M.E. Church Cemetery with Pastor Hollis McClendon, Rev. Blanche Godwin and Rev. Charles Flowers officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
