Obituary For Mrs. Lilla Mae Williams

Mrs. Lilla Mae Williams of Greenwood, FL the Two Egg Community entered eternal rest on Monday, November 04, 2019 in the comfort of her daughter’s residence with each of her loving children at her side. She was 81 years young.

She was a native of Mt. Pleasant South Carolina the Wando Community and a resident of Jackson County after having also lived awhile in Dade County, FL. She was a former employee of Sunland Center where she worked as a Human Service Worker. She loved the outdoors and worked several jobs in the fields to care for her family and make ends meet.

She attended church at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and really enjoyed services until her health would not allow her to continue.

Homegoing services for Mrs. Lilla Mae Williams will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located on Wintergreen Road in Two Egg Florida with Rev. L. V. Farmer, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the caring staff of Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna, Florida directing. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until funeral time at 1:00 p.m.

There will be public viewing and visitation on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Peoples Funeral Home chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

She leaves a lifetime of love and precious memories with her family to include: three children, Felita D. Brown of St. Stevens, SC, Timothy L. Williams and his special friend Victoria and Avia Williams Decree and Kevin all of Greenwood, FL, three sisters, Dorothy B. Glover of Lincolnville, SC, Anna Mae Brown of Bronx, NY, and Leola B. Mitchell of Huger, SC, six grands, Calvin Stringer, MaKiyah Jackson, MaKayla Jackson, Demontrae Decree, Kevin Decree, Jr. and Caziah Spencer, also survived are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and dear sorrowing friends.
