Alesia E. Holland (affectionately known as Lisa) was born on 11/3/67 to Leroy and Teralyn Holland.
She was reared in Tallahassee, FL and was a member of the Dade Street Church of God of Prophecy, as a child. Lisa graduated from Amos P. Godby High School class of 1985, she then furthered her education and received her Bachelors and Master's degree of Social Work from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.
Lisa served her consumers over 30 years doing what she loved, helping people. Although Lisa was quiet and mostly kept to herself, she loved traveling, spending time with her small circle of friends, enjoying a laugh, movie or good meal.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father Leroy, mother Teralyn and her brother Michael.
She leaves to cherish her memory: brother Orin Holland of FL, sister LaJuanta Shack of NJ, uncle John Holland (Eva) of FL, cousin Cynthia (Tina) Wright of NC, cousin Melvin Holland (Dominique) of MD, cousin Terrance (Tasha) of FL and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 01, 2025 @ 11:00 am CST at the Mt. Olive AME Church Cemetery in Marianna, FL. with Rev. Claude Holden officiating and the caring staff of Peoples Funeral Home directing.
