Sister Alzenia H O'Neal of Marianna, FL entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Bay Medical Center in Panama City, FL.
She was born March 2, 1948, to the late Thelma Hines and John Everett in Cario, Georgia and lived in Miami, FL before moving to Jackson County, FL to live with her sister until her demise.
She was of the Baptist faith and an active member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Cypress, FL where she was very active in the choir, usher board, and the hospitality ministries.
She was employed as a Human Service Worker for the state of Florida until her retirement. She loved to travel and was a member of the Swinging Seniors traveling group, where she enjoyed doing new things, seeing new places, and fellowshipping with her Christian friends that was truly family to her.
She leaves a lifetime of love and memories to her son, Keith Altman Hanies of Miami, FL, two brothers, Johnny Everett and Gregory Everett both of Marianna, FL; four grandchildren, Anita Hanies, Keith Hanies, Jr., Kendrick Hanies, and LaQuisha Hanies all of Miami, FL. She is also survived by others family members, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her traveling group members “The Swinging Seniors”.

You was a wonderful neighbor and friend and a wonderful pet mom and I know Mimi will miss you greatly and your birds will also miss you greatly and I differently will miss you greatly as a friend and neighbor now you can dance and sing with the Lord and Angels
