Lucy Kennedy “Lucy B” was born to Deacon Albert Payne, Sr. and Mrs. Johnnie Payne on November 23, 1942. She departed this life on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Mrs. Kennedy is preceded in death by her parents, Deacon Albert, Sr. and Johnnie Payne; her husband, Raymond Kennedy, her daughter, Nancy Felicia Kennedy, brothers: Albert Payne, Jr. (“Sunny”) and Samuel Payne (“Sam”), sister Johnnie Bell Payne and special nephews, Richard James Payne (“Ricky”) and Gerald Lewis.

Mrs. Kennedy leaves to cherish her loving memories, her amazing son who she adored Raymond Fitzgerald Kennedy (Jennifer) of Kinsey, AL, her grandsons, Raymone Kennedy of Kinsey AL and Ray’shon Kennedy (Tye) of Oviedo, FL. Best friend Shirley James (Mack) of Gordon, AL, special niece Carolyn Reynolds (Thomas) of Newville, AL, special nephews Lorenzo Lewis (Tasha) of Detroit Michigan, Michael Lampkin (Pam) Dothan, AL with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
