Teharah Ainesha Green was born on March 3, 1978, in Newark, New Jersey, to Rosita Green and Edward Robertson.
Teharah attended Newark Public Schools and proudly graduated from Malcolm X Shabazz High School. She spent her childhood and teenage years in Newark, surrounded by family and lifelong friends. Later, seeking new opportunities for her family, Teharah relocated to New London, Connecticut, where she raised her children and built a meaningful life. During her time there, she worked within the public school system as a school bus aide, dedicating herself to ensuring the safety and well-being of students each day.
About ten years ago, Teharah made the decision to move to Marianna, Florida, drawn by the warmth and sunshine she so loved.
Family was the heartbeat of Teharah’s life. She was the proud grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Whether through hugs, laughter, or thoughtful gestures, she made sure they knew just how deeply they were loved.
Teharah had a lifelong passion for music—especially rhythm and blues. Her days were often filled with melodies, and she loved sharing her favorite songs with family and friends, whether through a social media post or a quick text message that brightened someone’s day.
In her later years, Teharah sought to strengthen her spiritual foundation and deepen her relationship with God. She began studying the Bible with members of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, reflecting her sincere desire for spiritual growth and understanding.
Teharah was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Tanya Green and brothers Hassan Williams and Jamil Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Jasmine Green, Terrick Green, and Gabrial Green; her cherished grandchildren, Montana Green and Cavion Green; her loving parents, Rosita Green and Edward Robertson; her siblings, Karchine Green, Keesha Chavis, Kawuan Robertson, and Essence Jarrell her brother-in-law Jonathan W. Chavis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones who will forever carry her in their hearts.

Heavenly Father, We lift before You the soul of Teharah, Your precious child who left this world in quietness and solitude. Though no human hands may have been there to hold her, we know that Your presence never left her side. You are the God who promises never to forsake us, even in our final breath.
Lord, surround her memory with Your light. Where there was loneliness, let there now be eternal companionship in Your glory. Where there was pain, let there now be peace that surpasses understanding. Where there were tears, let there now be the joy of Your embrace.
We ask that You comfort those who mourn her absence —remind them that no one truly dies alone when their spirit rests in You. You were her Keeper, her Witness, her everlasting Friend.
Receive Teharah into Your arms of mercy. Let her rest in Your perfect love, healed and whole, her soul free to dance in the light of eternity.
And Lord, teach us through her passing to cherish every life —to reach for the unseen, love the forgotten, and remember that every soul matters to You.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
