Obituary For Arveeda Yvonne Gordon
Mrs. Arveeda Yvonne (Thompson) Gordon, 78, of Radcliff, KY died on October 25, 2021 at home in Radcliff, KY.
Mrs. Gordon was a native of Canton, OH and the daughter of the late Adam Thompson and Alistine Rayford. She served as the State Commander, Secretary, and National Chaplain of DAVA Chapter 156. She was a member of Non-Denominational Church. She worked as a Private Social Worker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, CSM (Ret.) Thomas Elsworth Gordon, Sr.; one son, Thomas E. Gordon, Jr.; three brothers, Terry, Baron, and Alvin.
Survivors include her son, James A. Gordon of Frederick, MD; one sister, Darleen Moss (Pastor Rev. Walter Moss) of Canton, OH and special friends, Clifton and Fannye Edwards of Radcliff, KY.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Chaplain Mike Lewis officiating. Burial will be 1:30pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking if you would please donate to the DAV and/or DAVA Chapter 156. Thank you
