Obituary For Barbara Ann Tucker

Mrs. Barbara Ann “Catledge” Tucker, 70 of Houston Mississippi departed this life peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto, Southaven, Mississippi.

Mrs. Tucker was a member of Tabernacle CME Church in Brownsville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Glenn (Shine) Catledge and Bobbie Jean “Hatchett” Catledge; her husband Donald Lee Tucker, Sr.; sister Brenda Catledge French; two brothers Earnest Catledge, her twin, William Earl (Bill) Catledge; her mother-in-law Rose Hester Gray.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, William Tucker, Donald (Felicia) Tucker, Jr; daughter Barbette Joy (Cedric) Johnson; a brother Terry Catledge; two sisters Margie (Bernard) McPherson, Virginia (Larry) Wilson; two aunts Oberia Libsey, Margie Hatchett; one uncle James Gunn; eleven grandchildren, Skylar, Morgan, CJ, Madison, Taylor, Dallas, Summer, Lucas, Donald III, Marquis Lane and Shawn Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff KY at 2:30 PM Thursday, August 28, 2025, with Rev James Dowell, Jr officiating.

Percell & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
