Obituary For Christopher DeVonte Doss
Christopher DeVonte Doss, Sr., 28, of Elizabethtown, KY died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was a John Hardin High School graduate where he played football and participated in the wrestling program. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Michael Doss and his maternal grandmother, Juanita Harrison.
He is survived by two sons, Christopher D. Doss, II and Zaire Lyor Doss; a daughter, Alyna Rochelle Doss; his parents Darian and Rochelle Doss; a brother Cameron JP Doss; his paternal grandmother, Julia Ferguson; his maternal grandfather, Robert Harrison (Ocie); his fiancée, Ariel Sims; Uncles, Michael Doss, , Jr. and Tyrus Doss; an aunt Jacinta Pleasant ( Jeffery).
The funeral will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilbert D. Prinkleton, Jr. officiating. Visitation after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

I was sadden to read about Christopher. He walked into my first grade classroom each day with a smiling face. Christopher had letter perfect handwriting and took pride at striving to do his best each day. He was kind to his friends and his manners shined above others! He has always held a special place in my heart. Praying for peace and comfort for his family, fiancé, and friends during this difficult time.
