SFC (Ret.) Clarence L. Morgan, 85, died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Baptist Health Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. A native of Camp Hill, AL, Mr. Morgan was the son of the late James Coley and Carrie Heard Morgan.
Mr. Morgan was a Vietnam War Veteran and after 26 years, he retired from U.S. Army and held memberships with the VFW & DAV. In 1991, he was honored by President George Bush for 50 years of government service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Clarence L. Morgan, II and all his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Garrett Morgan; son Joshua Garrett (Debra); daughters K. Camille Morgan-Crippen (Frank) and Sarran Garrett; brother/nephew, William Hendrieth (Jean); 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Lebanon National Cemetery with military honors.
Percell & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
